MSG? YES, IT'S USED AS A PESTICIDE BY FARMERS!

MSG (mono sodium glutamate) is the world's number one flavor enhancer in commercial food industry. It's production is being doubling every decade since 1940's. China, top global manufacturer of this chemical, had announced 2 billion ton production of MSG in 2016.

However, "Sri Lankan farmers started to use MSG as a pesticide, as a solution to situation arose with temporary glyphosate ban in 2015". A government official confirmed in a media interview. As MSG acts as an excitotoxin, it's no wonder if it works on pest neuronal system as well.
